Sunday, October 1st

The church will celebrate World Communion. On this Sunday, Christian churches around the world all join in Communion. Here at Henderson Presbyterian Church, the Communion will be a High Celebration with choir response that we as a congregation participate in once a year. This is also the Peacemaking Offering where over 25% of the offering stays right here in our own community.

Sunday, October 8th

Preacher Doyel will conclude the series on Exodus. Be sure and read those Ten Commandments.

Then, for one of the next three Sundays, the church will present the Annual Layman Sunday where one of our members will share their story, thoughts, or sermon upon the Lord in their life. The other two Sundays, Preacher Doyel will hold forth and will have something to say about something.

Don’t forget Sunday, October 29th is Reformation Sunday. Be sure and come to church and read the 95 thesis of Martin Luther that we nail to the church doors. Be on time because Daylight Saving quits its savings! ~Parson Doyel

8:00 AM till 4:00 PM Each Day!

Except Saturday—8AM to 12 PM

That’s right! Four whole days of great bargains and exciting finds!!

Come every day and, how about giving a helping hand?!!

Everyone is Needed to help set up!

This is a HUGE—we mean REALLY BIG!—job and everyone is asked to help. You can’t lift things? That’s o.k. We have lots of items that need to be folded. You can even sit and fold all day! We have a job for EVERYONE! Just pack yourself a lunch, include a drink if you need one (we’ll have coffee, hot chocolate, and iced tea), and anything else you might want to bring. Can only stay for a little while? That’s o.k., too!
